Carefree's multi-layer 12 oz. Vinyl canopy with a welded 13 oz. 1000 Denier
Weatherguard is the strongest Vinyl fabric available! The lower portion of a vinyl
canopy is usually brightly colored with stripes or fades. The top portion is called
Weatherguard, and it protects the fabric from sun, scrapes and exposure when the
awning is rolled up. Weatherguard is available in white or matching color. Color
options are shown on top; canopy below.

Carefree's two piece fabric construction is superior to brands using a single
piece, single weight fabric for the entire canopy. The final wrap of the awning in
the rolled up position (the Weatherguard) must be strong enough to protect the
canopy from the environment. That's why Carefree canopies feature two piece
